Our client is a boutique business finance brokerage specialising in equipment finance and business lending for B2B clients across heavy industries - including but not limited to earthmoving and construction, mining, manufacturing, transport, and aviation.
They are a micro, high-performing team that delivers service levels well beyond what most banks or larger brokerages offer. They are now looking for a talented, skilled, and motivated Marketing & Growth Lead to help expand their reach and take their branding, marketing to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
Many of their existing clients have been repeat clientele for close to a decade. They take a consultative approach, focusing on long-term relationships and helping our clients grow their businesses over time rather than just facilitating finance for them.
Because they offer a high-touch, relationship-based service, the marketing needs to be built to reflect that. The content they want to produce needs to be sharp, professional, and positioned to clearly stand apart from the typical broker approach.
Brand & Strategy
- Help shape and refine brand positioning, tone, and lead our general marketing direction
- Collaborate on ways to deepen client engagement - e.g. welcome/gift packs, branded merch, email marketing campaigns etc.
- Build out and maintain a highly engaging and active social media presence by planning for and coming up with ideas to showcase us/our clients and the successes we are achieving together with them.
- Help plan and coordinate client-facing initiatives such as small events or industry experiences
- Contribute practical ideas that reflect our premium, relationship-based service model
- Work closely with the director to turn ideas into action
Content, Creative, Collateral
- Design assets on Canva (or similar platforms) for example, or find and coordinate with quality external creatives (graphic designers, editors, web developers, etc.)
- Conceptualise social media content ideas and work with the team on posts/copy/videos and photos to post regularly.
- Manage and grow our social media presence – LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook
- Plan and maintain the content calendar
- Write copy for posts, LinkedIn articles, and EDMs
- Build and send email campaigns (Mailchimp or similar)
- Manage website content and delivery, as well as landing pages for ad campaigns.
- Build out well branded internal and external templates in word doc, PDF, excel, HTML emails etc.
Funnels & Paid Ads
- Build and manage paid ad campaigns (including retargeting campaigns)
- Create and maintain lead funnels and email sequences. Source and engage subscriptions to relevant campaign platforms such as ActiveCampaign etc.
- Track and report on campaign performance and optimise accordingly
Growth & Reporting
- Review current market reach and engagement on all platforms (web traffic, social media, general customer engagement/reach and touch points etc).
- Set clear, trackable growth targets on all channels.
- Lead monthly stat reviews to report results and suggest improvements
About You
- Min 3+ years of experience in marketing and digital growth roles
- Strong writing and content creation skills
- Confident managing both strategy and execution
- Familiar with platforms like Mailchimp, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, Google Ads
- Comfortable working independently and handling or managing external creatives
- Ideally based in Sydney, though remote applicants are welcome
