Role Description

This is a contract and fully remote position for a Human Resources (HR) Manager. The HR Manager will focus on overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Additional responsibilities include designing HR strategies, implementing training programs, leading performance evaluation processes, and cultivating a positive workplace culture aligned with organizational values. The role requires close collaboration with leadership to support the company's growing team and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in employee recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes
  • Proficiency in HR strategy development, policy implementation, and organizational development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to handle employee relations effectively
  • Knowledge of employment laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices
  • Experience with performance management systems and employee training program development
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with HR management software and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certifications are a plus)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Previous experience in geoscience, energy, or exploration industries is a strong advantage
