About Curie
Curie makes clean, aluminum-free deodorant and body care products for people who sweat. Founder & CEO Sarah Moret started the company after searching for a natural deodorant that could actually keep up with her life. A Shark Tank deal with Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran in 2023 accelerated growth. Today, Curie is a profitable, founder-led business in 4,300+ Walmart doors, plus Amazon and DTC.
The Role
Curie is looking for a Marketing Director to own the strategy, structure, and execution of our marketing across retail, DTC, and Amazon.
This hands-on leader will run the day-to-day marketing function, manage internal team members and agency partners, and lead go-to-market strategy for an ambitious pipeline of new products and retail expansion. You’ll turn company goals into clear plans, keep contributors aligned, and take responsibility for delivering results.
What You'll Do
- Own Curie’s marketing strategy and execution: Translate company growth goals into a cohesive omnichannel marketing plan across mass retail, DTC, and Amazon, with clear priorities, budgets, timelines, and success metrics.
- Lead new product launches end-to-end: Develop the consumer positioning, audience, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for new products. Build and manage cross-functional launch plans spanning product development, packaging, creative, operations, retail, and media.
- Manage direct reports: Partner closely with our Director of Brand & Social to set clear priorities, establish accountability, and ensure everyone on the team understands what success looks like.
- Manage agencies and external partners: Own day-to-day relationships with paid media, Amazon, PR, and other agency partners, holding them accountable to strategy, scope, timeline, budget, and performance.
- Bring analytical and commercial rigor: Track channel performance, marketing efficiency, launch results, retail velocity, and consumer response. Use the data to make decisions, reallocate resources, and improve performance.
- Build operational discipline: Establish the meetings, timelines, reporting, and decision-making processes that keep product, creative, operations, sales, and external partners aligned.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of marketing experience in CPG, beauty, personal care, wellness, or an adjacent consumer category, ideally at a fast-growing brand operating across retail and ecommerce.
- A proven track record developing and executing successful product launches, from consumer positioning through launch and performance analysis.
- Direct mass-retail experience, including shopper marketing, retailer media, and retail activation. Walmart or other big-box experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong consumer instincts and creative judgment. You know how to turn product attributes and consumer insights into sharp positioning and effective marketing.
- An analytical and commercially minded approach. You are comfortable managing budgets, setting KPIs, interpreting performance data, and connecting marketing investment to revenue and profitability.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a reputation for anticipating bottlenecks, catching important details, and driving projects forward.
- A low-ego, hands-on working style. You are comfortable moving between high-level strategy and the details required to bring that strategy to life.
