We are currently looking for a full-time Creative Strategist.
Location: Remote-first (Seattle/West-Coast preferred)
Reporting to: Head of Strategy
Strategy at CM is a human-centric, culture-obsessed discipline where we dive deep into audience insights, media trends, cultural shifts, and tech innovations that inform our strategic recommendations and impact creative output. Our strategy team is collectively redefining and modernizing the way our brand partners harness audience and cultural intelligence to develop effective and actionable strategies that help our brand partners serve their audiences through storytelling.
Job Description
As a Creative Strategist at Conscious Minds Studios, you will apply curiosity, intuition, and analytical rigor to discover valuable insights. You will apply imagination, passion, and engaging storytelling to bring strategic ideas to life while also helping build trust with our client partners and helping demonstrate that strategy inspires creativity and can move the needle on our client’s business. This role will support the Head of Strategy and creative teams to find creative solutions rooted in insightful data that is representative to various audiences. Job Responsibilities
- You will be a trusted and attentive client partner, independently responsible for workstreams, and knowledgeable about the client’s products, needs, and business.
- You will help create and present thoughtful and provocative creative briefs, brand POVs and communications plans based on insights from consumer research, brand understanding and marketplace data.
- You will maintain a deep knowledge of category and competitive activity, and keep a finger on the pulse of existing and emerging consumer and cultural trends.
- You will be well-versed in the ability to leverage tools and research platforms to conduct audience, category and brand analysis, social listening, and content audits, leveraging our data, licensed data and/or clients’ 1st party data.
- You will bring the consumer’s world to life for creative teams and clients using qualitative and cultural mining and insightful synthesis of quantitative research to inform a strategic approach.
- You will articulate effective strategic rationale and logic flow that will help form compelling strategic narratives for client presentations and other important communications.
- You will develop proactive thought leadership deliverables to educate and inspire internal teams and
- clients.
- You have the ability to manage your workload, understanding how to prioritize and communicate when support is needed.
- You will contribute to team culture, earning creative and account trust, supporting current (and future) strategy team members and creating a positive, constructive, and welcoming environment.
- You will create and improve upon resources, templates, and processes to keep the team running effectively, and identify opportunities to go above and beyond.
- You will develop comms and media plans for the campaigns our creative team are executing.
Characteristics & Skills
- Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach to integrated marketing.
- An ability to make complex topics understandable.
- Interest and excitement in social media channels and modern brand building – connecting all the dots.
- Proficiency in comms planning and media landscape, and ability to lead agency teams to drive go-to-market planning of campaign ideas across all channels, including social and digital.
- Experience using secondary research tools such as GlobalWebIndex, and ability to select and mine appropriate resources efficiently and effectively to answer insights requests.
- Familiarity with, and ability to review qualitative and quantitative research plus behavioral data to draw and interpret insights.
- Adept at working with creative teams from briefing through creative concepting, and passionate about bringing new thinking to the ideation process.
- Organized attention to detail and independent proactivity, comfort owning multiple projects from beginning to end.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills, including writing clear POV’s, client-ready communication, and presentations; need to be able to write concisely and hold your own with a client
- An eagerness to generate insights and ideas, but equally excited to roll up your sleeves to get the work done, alone or with others.
- Exhibit confidence and persuasiveness; be willing to express a point of view, get people on board, and demonstrate persistence.

The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is $, in addition to our standard employee benefits package (medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401k matching, Flexible PTO, and various other benefits and perks) Consistent with applicable law, compensation is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location.
