Job Description

Posted on: October 2, 2026

As the global leader in commercial real estate and facilities management, CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) manages the workplaces of the world’s most innovative organisations. We redefine how corporate environments run, leveraging smart systems, automation, and predictive data to drive efficiency and sustainability.

We are seeking a Technology Analyst to lead the discovery, hands-on development, and portfolio-wide rollout of AI and automations for a tier-one client portfolio across EMEA.

The Role

The Technology Analyst supports the identification, evaluation, development, and scaled deployment of AI, technology, and innovation solutions across one of our main client facilities and building management portfolios.

The role sits at the intersection of operations and technology: partnering with site teams to surface operational pain points, looking for emerging solutions (automation, AI/ML, robotics), and developing promising ideas into new or existing business system technologies.

Requirements

The Analyst owns day-to-day execution of technology implementation from business requirements through design to development and supports the transition of pilots into full-scale deployments. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role suited to someone equally comfortable:

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously scan for emerging technologies relevant to facilities and building management, including AI/ML applications, occupancy and space analytics, energy optimisation, service robotics, and generative AI tools for FM workflows.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, workplace experience, EHS, and client/IT stakeholders to identify pain points and prioritise opportunity areas.
  • Draft structured charters and requirements (problem statement, current-state workflow, proposed solution, target users, expected outcomes, and success measures) and execute hands-on solution design and development.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments covering technical fit, integration requirements, data availability, and operational readiness; support security, privacy, and procurement review processes for candidate solutions.
  • Support testing and pilot logistics (preparation, user training, communications, and issue tracking); serve as the day-to-day point of contact between site teams, Technology, and program leadership during pilots; manage pilot timelines and risk/issue logs while escalating blockers appropriately.
  • Assist in converting validated pilots into deployment playbooks (rollout sequencing, site readiness checklists, and change-management support); support deployment execution across sites, tracking milestones, adoption, and early performance; feed deployment learnings and continuous-improvement items back into the innovation pipeline.
  • Day-to-day support of deployed systems, providing L1 and L2 support and minor improvements to existing solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, data analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • Experience leading projects end to end from scoping through development to deployment.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in technology deployment, consulting, or innovation programs.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in low-code/no-code platforms (AppSheet, PowerApps) and automation tools (Apps Script, APIs).Curiosity with AI and emerging technology applications (such as Vertex AI and prototype development), paired with a practical understanding of what these tools can and cannot do.
  • Basic to medium data management (such as SQL) and data visualisation skills with Looker Studio, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of Google products (e.g., Sheets, Slides, Drive).

Core Competencies

  • Analytical rigor, structured experimentation, and disciplined follow-through with a bias to action.
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, an inquisitive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
  • Experience in facilities management, corporate real estate, or operations (preferred).
