Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic Data Analyst – Marketing & Operations Analytics to join our Financial Services Analytics team in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical foundation and 3–6 years of experience, particularly in marketing and operations analytics within financial services. This role will support high-impact initiatives for a leading U.S. bank, focusing on marketing attribution, personalization, dashboard development, and cross-domain analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Analytics & Optimization:
- Develop single and multi-touch attribution models, support Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and perform ROI simulations to optimize campaign spend and performance.
- Customer & Campaign Personalization:
- Analyze customer journey and behavioral data to segment audiences and support creation of personalized marketing content, channels, and offers.
- Dashboard Development:
- Partner with cross-functional teams (credit risk, marketing, finance, collections) to design and maintain executive-ready dashboards that translate raw data into actionable insights.
- Data Requirements & Governance:
- Identify and resolve data gaps, document data requirements and lineage, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure data integration.
- Cross-Domain Analytics Support:
- Drive additional analytics use cases in operations and customer experience. Analyze web logs and service tickets, support A/B testing, and provide insights for Gen-AI-driven automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3–6 years in data analytics, preferably in marketing analytics or financial services.
- Skills:
- Strong SQL and Python skills (SAS a plus)
- Experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau
- Familiarity with STA, MTA, and MMM methodologies
- Strong understanding of segmentation and personalization strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in matrixed environments
- Other: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Remote work eligible.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in personal loans, consumer lending, or card-based financial products
- Experience in consulting environments
- Exposure to Gen-AI analytics and automation use cases
- Demonstrated ability to deliver actionable insights through data storytelling
