About the Role

We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our Operations team. You’ll work with a collaborative, fast-paced, cross-functional team that partners with Finance, Product, and Client Success.

This is not a traditional day-to-day accounting role. Rather than performing routine transactional accounting, you’ll act as a client-facing partner, helping biotech customers understand, optimize, and scale their accounting processes using our platform. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in ambiguity. You’ll play a critical role in helping biotechs streamline processes, ensure compliance, and maximize value from our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Configuration & Onboarding

• Design, implement, and maintain technical accounting workflows within the Auxilius platform
• Support accounting-focused onboarding, training, and enablement in partnership with Technical Accounting Success

Data Quality & Compliance

• Perform detailed QA/QC reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Support adherence to client accounting methodologies and internal controls

Client Support & Advisory

• Provide accounting support through data processing, analysis, and issue resolution
• Communicate accounting outcomes and system configurations clearly to clients

Product Collaboration

• Participate in product development testing for accounting features
• Translate technical accounting requirements into clear product feedback

Operational Excellence

• Identify opportunities to standardize and improve accounting workflows at scale

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years in accounting or finance roles (startup experience preferred)
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Interest or experience in healthcare / biotech finance
• Collaborative attitude with a sense of humor
