Tech Recruiter – Early Stage Startups & AI - Fully Remote - £30-50k_Please note we have already received a high number of applications; however less than 20% have recent relevant experience. If you see yourself as a suitable candidate, please do not be put off by application numbers._

A high-growth recruitment business, founded by an experienced Talent Acquisition leader with a track record scaling global tech companies, is looking for its next hire.

This is an opportunity to join at an early stage, working directly with the founder who:

  • Scaled a business from Series B to Series E, taking headcount from 100 to 900 and valuation to $2.1bn
  • Led global TA at a high-profile AI scale-up, managing a team of 12
  • Has signed and delivered with some of the most exciting start-ups in the market – including exclusive agreements with AI labs and high-growth VC-backed companies

The desk is already established:

  • 18 live clients, 75+ open requirements, all inbound via referrals
  • Focus on early stage (0–10 hires) and VC-backed start-ups building founding teams
  • Typical roles: Software Engineers, Product Engineers, AI Scientists, Research Engineers
  • Average fees of £20–30k at 20% terms
  • Recent signings include AI labs and a corporate finance client in New York

What’s on offer:

  • £30–50k base salary
  • Flat commission structure (20–30%) after £50k threshold
  • No office – full flexibility and remote working, with regular London meet-ups (breakfasts, dinners, strategy sessions)
  • Access to full LinkedIn Recruiter licence (1,000 InMails/month), Loxo, job slots, and other best-in-class tools
  • Mentorship directly from the founder – work side by side on delivery, learn client development, and grow into a client partner role

The person who will succeed here:

  • 1–5 years’ experience in tech recruitment, ideally start-ups or product/engineering
  • Organised, structured, and hungry to succeed
  • Able to deliver to high-calibre clients and candidates
  • Ambitious – wants to make money, grow quickly, and be part of building something lean and high-performing

Interview process:

  • Introductory call (30 mins)
  • Cultural chat with team member (30 mins)
  • Live sourcing exercise (1 hour)
  • Final meeting with founder

This is an opportunity to be part of an ambitious growth journey – Y1 tracking £400–450k, with plans to scale to £1m+ in Y2.
