They're looking for an experienced PHP Software Engineer with strong software architecture skills and a genuine AI-native mindset.
AI needs to be at the heart of how they work, not just used as a coding assistant. The role involves using AI throughout the software development lifecycle, designing reliable systems, building automated testing and verification frameworks, and improving engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design reliable, observable and resilient software systems.
- Translate business requirements into architectural solutions.
- Build automated testing, quality gates and verification frameworks.
- Use AI throughout software development and delivery.
- Improve AI-native engineering practices and standards.
- Document architectural decisions and technical knowledge for people and AI systems.
- Mentor engineers and improve engineering capabilities.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong PHP software engineering experience.
- Strong software architecture and system design experience.
- Genuine AI-native expertise, using AI as an integral part of software delivery, not just for coding.
- Strong understanding of testing, quality engineering and observability.
- Experience with automated verification and quality frameworks.
- Ability to provide AI with context, constraints and feedback.
- Understanding of AI capabilities and limitations.
- Experience designing reliable, observable and resilient systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor engineers.
