The Job
Location: This role offers a remote work arrangement however approximately 50% travel both domestic and internationally will be required to facilitate business development and team leadership activities.
Summary:
Reporting to the Group General Manager, the Director of European Sales primary function is to cultivate, lead and manage the European Sales team to position and sell AGIS solutions to new and existing customers.
Leadership
· Demonstrate and reinforce integrity and ethical behavior in all business interactions
· Model the company’s culture, mission, vison and core values
· Contribute to the development of the organization’s strategic plan, goals, and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization
· Build strong relationships and lead through influence with leaders of teams across the organization
· Bring teams together to foster collaboration, improve decision-making, and maximize opportunities
· Develop and Foster a team culture of accountability and high performance
· Lead and support sales organizational design, people development and succession planning
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Establish sales strategies and targets in collaboration with key business units
· Direct market channel development activity and establish sales territories and goals
· Manage the preparation and implementation of sales and business development plans and sales forecasts
· Develop and maintain strong customer centricity and relationships by being involved through top-level contact with current and potential new customers
· Seek and create opportunities to expand business with current customers and identify further business needs to present solutions
· Refine and evolve the AGIS sales processes that includes:
o Lead generation activities, including trade show and industry conference attendance
o Qualification activities to introduce the customer to the solution and learn if the customer is an appropriate sales target
o Negotiate a commitment from the customer and obtain an agreement for services
Job Requirements and Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or other related field preferred
· Technical Expertise - 5+ years sales experience in High Speed Interconnect, Power, Data centers or related field is required.
· Industry Knowledge – Deep understanding of the IT Datacom landscape
· Knowledge of international business practices preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Outlook
