Data Security & DLP Analyst (AI Training)About The Role We partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. Now we're looking for data security professionals who understand how data leaks actually happen — and want to put that knowledge to work on one of the most important technology challenges of our time. You'll work with realistic incidents, DLP controls, and security scenarios to help AI systems reason more accurately about sensitive information risk. Your hands-on expertise will directly shape how frontier AI understands data protection.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract

What You'll Do

  • Analyze data security and DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments
  • Classify data sensitivity levels, exposure paths, and policy violations
  • Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident response strategies
  • Generate, label, and validate realistic data security cases used to train and evaluate AI systems
  • Apply your real-world knowledge to help AI reason accurately about how sensitive data is exposed and protected

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations
  • Familiar with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory concepts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
  • Practical understanding of how data risk plays out across real enterprise environments
  • Able to think critically about security scenarios and communicate findings clearly
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Background in security engineering, insider threat analysis, or data governance
  • Familiarity with AI or data labeling workflows

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems with top research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
  • Make a meaningful impact on how AI understands and handles sensitive data
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
