The Opportunity

We’re seeking an Electrical Engineer who’s ready to take the next step, someone who wants both design depth and project breadth.

You’ll work on diverse projects nationally and abroad, with flexibility in where and how you work. This role can be based in Adelaide or fully remote.

You will:

• Design and document AGL systems (approach, PAPI, runway, taxiway, apron floodlighting, ALER and controls)
• Contribute to scoping, concept and detailed design phases
• Conduct site inspections and attend site during construction and commissioning
• Collaborate with airports, contractors and other consultants
• Provide input to proposals, tender submissions and innovative solutions

About You

We’re looking for a proactive, positive and technically strong electrical engineer who enjoys collaboration and problem-solving.

Essential

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in airfield lighting design
• Understanding of MOS 139, ICAO Annex 14, AS/NZS 3000 and related aviation/electrical standards
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel to site when required
• Positive, collaborative, self-driven and resilient individual
• Australian citizenship

Desirable:

• Chartered / Certified status
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (or willing to learn)
• Proficiency with AGI32 or DIALux (or willing to learn)
• Familiarity with electrical distribution and control systems
