Role Description This is a part-time, remote Service Technician role responsible for supporting electrical safety testing and compliance services at client sites. The Service Technician will perform routine electrical test & tag activities, assist with RCD testing, and support thermal imaging and biomedical equipment safety testing under relevant Australian standards and internal procedures. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and testing equipment, documenting results in compliance reports, maintaining accurate records, and escalating technical issues when required. The role also involves coordinating with clients and internal team members to schedule site visits, explain testing outcomes in clear terms, and ensure minimal disruption to client operations. The successful candidate will follow all safety protocols, use test equipment appropriately, and contribute to continuous improvement of field service practices. Qualifications

• Strong maintenance capabilities, including Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance skills relevant to electrical equipment and systems.
• Proficient Troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical safety and equipment performance issues.
• Experience in Field Service, including on-site testing, accurate reporting, and adherence to safety and compliance procedures.
• Effective Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and represent the company professionally at client sites.
• Relevant trade qualification, electrical testing certification, or experience in electrical or technical service roles (e.g., electrician, electrical tester, service technician).
• Familiarity with AS/NZS electrical safety standards, test equipment, and digital reporting tools is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently in remote and field environments, manage time effectively, and travel to client locations as required.
• Current driver’s license, valid work rights in Australia, and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
