Role Overview

NetHope is on the hunt for a dynamic and collaborative Communications Manager to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves developing and executing multi-channel communication strategies that amplify the organization's mission and impact. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you'll be crafting engaging content, managing digital campaigns, and building audiences across key stakeholder groups, including members, partners, funders, and the global development sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Audience Engagement & Digital Marketing (40%): Develop and execute strategies across email, web, social media, and paid media to boost reach and engagement. Manage NetHope's social presence, implement SEO, optimize with analytics, and lead campaigns for events like the NetHope Global Summit.
• Content Creation & Visual Design (25%): Write compelling content for blogs, newsletters, and more. Use tools like Canva for visuals and oversee larger design projects. Keep web content updated and share impactful stories.
• Project Management & Coordination (25%): Act as the central point for internal communications, coordinate with teams using Asana, maintain editorial calendars, and support strategic initiatives.
• Strategic Support & Systems Management (10%): Assist with CRM lists, strategy development, and tool assessments to enhance efficiency and stay on top of nonprofit marketing trends.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience in communications or marketing, preferably in the nonprofit or humanitarian sectors. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred. Strong writing skills, digital strategy expertise, and proficiency with tools like Campaign Monitor, Salesforce, and Google Analytics are essential. Experience with webinar platforms, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Working Conditions
