The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) is looking for a talented Communications Manager to join their global team in a fully remote role. This position offers a competitive salary of US$35,000–US$40,000 per year and the chance to make a tangible impact on research surrounding violence against women and children.
About the Role
As Communications Manager, you'll be at the heart of SVRI's mission to translate complex research into accessible, compelling content. You'll lead communication strategies across digital platforms, manage content creation, and ensure key findings reach global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SVRI’s social media, website, and newsletter channels.
- Develop engaging content, including captions, graphics, and multimedia.
- Apply SEO best practices and support email marketing.
- Translate research into clear messages for diverse stakeholders.
- Promote research findings, tools, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Maintain brand consistency and monitor communication performance.
Who Should Apply?
- A degree in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (10+ preferred).
- Familiarity with violence against women, children, or gender-based violence is a plus.
- Strong understanding of global research networks and stakeholders.
