Across the country, a median of 12.5% of workers are continuing to perform their jobs remotely. A recent report by SmartAsset highlights the cities in the U.S. where remote work is most prevalent.
Leading Cities for Remote Workers
According to the report, Frisco, Texas tops the list with an impressive 34.16% of its workforce working from home. In fact, 22 other cities have over 25% of their workers remotely employed, including:
- Seattle
- Austin
- Boulder
- Portland (Oregon)
- Atlanta
Conversely, Odessa, Texas has the lowest percentage, with only 1.58% of workers engaged in remote work.
