The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Global Sales team. The role is largely remote and will be the first permanent hire in the US for our Global Sales team. The successful candidate will develop new US-based accounts potential for Ascott’s global portfolio and will manage global key accounts while partnering with the Cluster Sales Team to drive sales revenue for the group.
Responsibilities:
- Meet / exceed revenue targets as set out by Ascott
- Drive direct sales through key segments allocated by VP, Global Sales (Corporate), including corporate accounts and their appointed Relocation agencies and Travel Management Companies
- Build relationships with key decision makers to ensure that Ascott is a preferred choice for their hotel / serviced apartment programs
- Manage global RFP programs and global annual agreements
- Co-drive with Cluster Sales Team to maximize account potential
- Identify potential industries to grow and develop business
- Represent the group at trade shows, overseas sales trips and networking events
- Conduct regular business reviews with clusters and cross functional working groups to ensure alignment of key account strategies and process
- Be well versed in all sales related systems to have the ability to guide / train clusters
- Stay updated with industry trends to ensure relevance in core segments
- Act as the Pre-opening POP Guardian for Sales function as assigned by Division Head
- Handle sales related projects as assigned by VP, Global Sales.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor degree or above, fluent in English
- More than 6 years Hotel / Extended Stay sales experience in regional level preferred
- Profound experience in corporate accounts or global sales background will be a plus
- Self-driven, target-oriented, team spirit and can work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office system and sales related software and tools.
