Windows Platform DeveloperAbout the Role 

We’re looking for an experienced Platform Developer to help drive this transformation: rebuilding legacy Windows services into a modular, event-driven, and API-first platform. You’ll work as part of our core engineering and modernisation team, re-engineering a large-scale .NET application suite to leverage Microsoft Azure services, Kafka-based messaging, and modern DevOps pipelines. 

Contractor or Permanent positions available. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Decompose and refactor legacy Windows and .NET Framework applications into modular, cloud-native components. 
• Design and build scalable APIs and microservices using .NET 8 / .NET Core. 
• Implement event-driven integrations using Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or equivalent technologies. 
• Work with DevOps teams to containerise and deploy services using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Docker. 
• Collaborate in Agile sprints with clear ownership of delivery outcomes. 
• Contribute to documentation, architecture patterns, and technical standards. 

Skills & Experience 

• 5+ years of hands-on development with C# / .NET Core / .NET 8. 
• Deep understanding of Windows Services, APIs, and microservices architectures. 
• Familiarity with Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or RabbitMQ. 
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and cloud-based data services. 
• Experience with DevOps and CI\CD Pipelines configuration. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in distributed teams. 
• Right to Work in Australia is required
