People Partner.Salary: £36,100 per annum.
Location: Remote,
Contract: Permanent – 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role
In this role of People Partner, you will provide solutions and guidance to complex people related queries and tasks that enable management to continue to achieve their business objectives across the UK.
Driven by love we take Action for Children. Experience of working for an Organisation that provides regulated services to Children and Young People, including experience of safeguarding legislation is essential in this role.
You will also undertake support specific corporate initiatives to enable the organisation and its services to develop and grow, in line with the organisational business plan.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
- Providing HR advice often balancing the needs of our Children and Young People in decision making
- Use best practice and insight gained from continued learning to provide pragmatic and informed solutions and ideas.
- Source and use existing data to produce quantitative and qualitative data.
- Work collaboratively and engagingly with senior management to provide professional and detailed knowledge, advice, insight, and coaching for managers.
- Take a lead role to create a coaching culture within the People Advice Team.
- Support the delivery of a high performing People service.
- Support the development and maintenance of people policies and procedures.
Let's talk about you
- CIPD professional qualification with formal coaching and or mediation training would be desirable.
- Experience in an HR Management and/or Business Partnership role within a Children’s Services environment.
- Experience of managing TUPE transfers within Children’s Services and proven knowledge of the law affecting TUPE.
- A strong working knowledge of safeguarding requirements and legislation.
- Knowledge of a range of HR/OD theories, practices, frameworks, and tools.
- A good working knowledge of employment law.
- Sound knowledge of coaching and leadership development practices.
- Engages powerful parties and mediates conflict well.
- Prominent levels of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and empathy to build effective relationships.
